What We Collect

When you use SideQuest.report, you provide information such as your job title, years of experience, skills, and interests. This information is used solely to generate your personalized career report.

How We Use Your Information

Your input is sent to OpenAI's API to generate your report. Both free and paid reports — along with the form inputs used to generate them — are stored temporarily in Upstash Redis (up to 30 days) so you can revisit your report via its unique link. For paid reports, your form inputs are stored in Redis prior to Stripe Checkout; only a report identifier (not your personal inputs) is passed through Stripe metadata.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI — to generate career intelligence reports
• Stripe — to process payments
• Upstash Redis — to temporarily store reports and form inputs for both free and paid tiers (up to 30 days), and to maintain an internal activity log (job title and skills only, no personal identifiers)
• Vercel — to host and serve the application
