What We Collect

When you use SideQuest.report, you provide information such as your job title, years of experience, skills, and interests. This information is used solely to generate your personalized career report.

How We Use Your Information

Your input is sent to OpenAI's API to generate your report. We do not store your input data permanently. Free report inputs are processed in-session and discarded. For paid reports, your form inputs are passed through Stripe Checkout metadata during payment and stored temporarily in Upstash Redis (up to 30 days) so you can revisit your report.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI — to generate career intelligence reports
• Stripe — to process payments (form inputs are included in Checkout metadata during the payment flow)
• Upstash Redis — to temporarily store paid reports (up to 30 days)
• Vercel — to host and serve the application

Our reports contain affiliate links to courses, tools, and platforms. If you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These links may use cookies to track referrals according to each partner's cookie policy.

Resume Uploads

If resume upload is available, uploaded files are processed in-session to extract skills and experience. Resumes are never stored on our servers.
